As you’d expect, to be effective for kids with a short attention span, an app that targets young ones needs to start with a bright and colorful appearance along with a simplistic UI: check and check.

Easy to use and fun to play, younger users will not get frustrated with the simple swiping action they need to act on in the games.

Importantly when working with the app kids simply focus on getting cute animals to where they need to be. The training happens while they’re having fun.

App features and layout are just as simple to look at and perfect for little ones to see the whole picture.

    Value:

Hopster Coding Safari for Kids, as the name implies, is geared to building pre-coding logic skills for kids in the 3 to 7 age range.

We also think it can be lots of fun for parents as they interact with child and show interest in their advancement. We were very happy to see the variety of topics covered but since it does have a limited age range, the audience looking for this type of app is a bit more limited.

We love well designed early education apps that build skills in a systematic and effective way that’s also fun and engaging. Take it from us, Hopster knocks it out of the park.

Overall, if you’re looking for an app that combines education with fun, Hopster fits the bill and then some.

Hopster Coding Safari for Kids app requires iOS 8.0 or later and is compatible with iPad.

  • Brainly is Your Secret Weapon to Crush Your Homework

    Reviewed by Jimbo

Here at TheiPhoneAppReview, there’s hardly anything on this planet that we like more than an app that delivers real value to those who choose to download it.

Any app that serves a useful purpose or is entertaining enough to keep folks interested is a good find in our book.

Brainly, by developer Brainly, Inc. goes beyond what you might expect. It’s a tremendous resource for those who are seeking some help with school homework—whether they’re in high school or college.

    Concept and Functionality:

Brainly is a terrific help to you with your homework and more. It’s “more” is it is designed to not just help you find answers but also to help you understand what you’re being asked.

This understanding aspect of Brainly is much more valuable than just helping you find an answer to a homework problem. After all, if you don’t understand your homework, completing it is just getting by.

A key point worth noting about this app is that over 150M people around the world use it every month.

That’s pretty amazing. That’s also an incredible resource because with that many monthly users there’s bound to be lots of study partners you can connect with to share your frustrations and insights with.

    Brainly Android App

In fact, the more you help others and the more that help is recognized as being valuable, you benefit by receiving bonus points and improving your ranking as a subject matter expert.

According to the app’s description, it covers the following areas “Math, History, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Social Studies, Advanced Placement AP, Geography, Health, Arts, Business, Computers and Technology, French, German, Spanish, and World Languages! Plus, special sections featuring prep questions for SAT and PSAT exams!”

    Design and Graphics:

The only real complaint we have with the app involves its aesthetics. These days the bar is set pretty high and Brainly, in our view, could use a makeover.

That said, of course what’s more important is that everything behaves well, and we had no problem finding our way around.

All in all we feel this remarkable app could easily be even better with a more updated UI, rather than a rougher edition of a study utility.

    Overall Value:

Overall there’s no denying that Brainly is extremely useful and a worthwhile download for any student.

We highly recommend Brainly to anyone facing a homework challenge, or are looking for an interesting and rewarding way to help others who could use a helping hand.

Brainly is FREE and requires iOS 12.0+.
