Apple unveils Apple HomeView, a new way to enjoy entertainment, stay connected, and manage the home

Apple today introduced Apple HomeView, designed to be central to the home and personal to everyone in it. With a stunning 7-inch Liquid Retina display, HomeView brings entertainment, connection, and smart home management together in one place, from playing music and making FaceTime calls to home monitoring and hands-free automations with voice control — all designed with privacy and security at the core. HomeView recognizes users by their faces, adapting so they can access their personal content in Messages, FaceTime, Calendar, Reminders, and Find My. HomeView features Siri AI, an entirely new version of Siri that’s profoundly more capable and conversational, with broad world knowledge that powers richer music discovery and onscreen awareness. When paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled device, it can also draw on a user’s personal context, such as their Calendar, Messages, and relevant information across their apps, to provide more helpful, personalized responses.

Designed to fit in any space, HomeView can be placed on a tabletop as the center of the home or wall-mounted to fit in spaces like the entryway or hallway. Pre-orders start today, with availability beginning November 13.

HomeView features a beautiful aluminum design with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display connected to a domed speaker base by a stainless steel hinge that provides a smooth tilt for comfortable viewing on tabletops of any height. The perfect addition to a kitchen counter, nightstand, or side table, HomeView comes in four beautiful colors — silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray — each finished with a matching cable.

The elegant design and Liquid Retina display seamlessly blend into any space while remaining clearly visible from across the room. It features adaptive display technologies, including True Tone, that react to changing light throughout the day. Automatic brightness adjusts from 500 nits — bright enough to stay vivid and easy to see even in a sunlit room — down to just 0.3 nits, making it ideal for the nightstand. The HomeView interface intelligently adjusts based on the user’s distance, showing simpler information that’s viewable from across the room and richer detail as they step closer.

A separate wall-mounted HomeView model — available in space gray and silver — offers the same 7-inch Liquid Retina display, powerful set of features, and rich audio. It can be attached to a wall using three purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home, with options for self-installation or professional installation.

HomeView recognizes up to six people and delivers a personalized experience for each one. Each user gets their own personalized Home Screen with apps and widgets. HomeView offers an exceptional listening experience through a custom-engineered acoustic system. Two custom full-range drivers in the display keep everything sounding crisp and clean while delivering room-filling Spatial Audio. A down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators are built into the base, offering incredible bass extension. Powered by Apple silicon and real-time system sensors, advanced computational audio continuously optimizes loudness and bass response at any volume.
