iPhone 16 Pro dummies reveal a new space black-style titanium color finish
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max should come in new colors, including a much darker version of this year’s Black Titanium finish.
Australian leaker Sonny Dickson shared new images on social media that show three dummy units representing the iPhone 16 Pro in three colors. As 9to5Mac points out, the Black Titanium option seems to have been visually tweaked because it appears significantly darker than on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The leak follows yesterday’s iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus dummies which showed off new colors for non-Pro models. iPhone dummies are built by enthusiasts based on rumors from case manufacturers. That’s why they lack Apple’s sheen.
Dummy units showcase the rumored iPhone 16 Pro colors
The iPhone 15 Pros debuted titanium finishes, with Natural, Blue, White and Black Titanium colorways offered. The dummy units displayed at the top of the post showcase the White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and Black Titanium options for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Earlier, a Weibo source showed an alleged rose colorway described as the titanium version of gold.

These colors were initially called for by reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in May on X, and others corroborated Kuo’s information. Apple continues to play it safe with the utterly dull iPhone Pro colors. They all look the same to me from one generation to another. God forbid if these colors were more saturated because a true pro doesn’t want to attract attention with a bright-colored phone, right?
