Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher are free for six months, no buying obligation
Photoshop alternative Affinity offers a generous six-month free trial of its creative suite comprising the Photo, Designer and Publisher desktop and mobile apps.
Anyone wanting to try out Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher without purchasing these apps can do so now, and there’s no purchasing obligation after your six free months have expired.
The offer is available starting July 9, 2024, for the iPad, Mac and Windows editions of the Affinity suite, developer Serif noted in the official press release.

This is a noteworthy offer, considering the company has steered away from the recurring subscription model. Instead, Serif offers its design software for a flat price, with each individual desktop app costing $70 or $165 for the entire suite. And if you decide to purchase Affinity Photo, Designer or Publisher, Serif is currently treating all customers to a 50 percent discount on all perpetual licenses.
“We’re saying ‘try everything and pay nothing’ because we understand making a change can be a big step, particularly for busy professionals,” said Affinity CEO Ashley Hewson. “Anyone who takes the trial is under absolutely no obligation to buy.”

Established two decades ago, Affinity is being acquired by Canva. Affinity’s creative software has become a full-blown alternative to Adobe’s Creative Cloud.
The vector illustration and design app Affinity Designer launched in October 2014. The creative graphics software Affinity Photo was launched in July 2015. The page layout and design app Affinity Publisher made its debut in June 2019.
