Here come spring colors for iPhone silicone cases and Apple Watch bands
Refreshed, spring-themed color options have now launched for Apple’s MagSafe-enabled iPhone Silicone Case, as well as the company’s Apple Watch bands.
The Silicone Case for iPhone can be purchased in four new spring-themed color options, commercially named Soft Mint, Sunshine, Light Blue and Pink.
The same colors are available for first-party Apple Watch bands so you can match them with the Silicon Case for your iPhone, except for Raspberry and Ocean Blue.
The refreshed accessories launched on March 4, 2023 with a silent update to the online Apple store, with no press release issued in the Apple Newsroom.
Apple updates its iPhone cases and Apple Watch bands
The company’s Sport Band for Apple Watch is now available in Soft Mint, Sunshine and Light Blue. The Sport Loop band is available in Soft Mint and Ocean Blue. The Solo Loop band now comes in Pink, Soft Mint and Ocean Blue. As for the Braided Solo Loop band, it can be had in Sunshine, Light Blue and Raspberry.
New colors are also available for the expensive Apple Watch Hermès bands, a collaboration between Apple and the French luxury design house Hermès. The Toile H Single Tour now comes in the Bleu Céleste/Écru and Framboise/Écru finishes.
The Kilim Single Tour is available in Blanc and Bleu Céleste, while the Twill Jump Single Tour is available in Bleu Céleste/Bleu Jean and Jaune d’Or/Bleu Jean.
Say hello to the Hermès Tricot Single Tour
The Hermès lineup now includes a new arrival, a knitted watch band named Tricot that comes in Bleu Jean, Jaune de Naples, Orange and Beige de Weimar.
Made from polyamide yarn (a waterproof material) and patterned on 1930s-era Hermès gloves created for driving, sailing and golf, the Tricot band “takes what was old and makes it new again,” according to the description on Apple’s online store.
It features the continuous textile knit that “comfortably hugs the wrist, imparting both a freedom of movement and a sense of élan.” Priced at $349 a pop, this band only works with 38mm, 40mm and 41mm watches.
Pricing and availability
These iPhone cases and silicon bands are available to order today from apple.com or through the official Apple Store app. Availability will expand to Apple’s authorized resellers at a later date. Earlier today, Apple unveiled updated MacBook Air laptops with the M3 chip that can now drive two external displays simultaneously.
