Misaka v3.2.5 introduces more TrollStore 2-based bug fixes improvements
The Misaka package manager app received another update Tuesday to v3.2.5, just one day after implementing a kfd exploit-based installation method for TrollStore 2 on iOS & iPadOS 16.0-16.6 beta 1 devices.
Citing the announcement in the project’s Discord server and in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter), Misaka v3.2.5 introduces the following changes over the previous version:
– Kfd icon themes have been updated and are now fully functional when installed using TrollStore (+ System App)
– TrollStoreHelper updated to v2.0.5
– Fixed TrollStore permissions issue
As it would appear, most of the latest updates pertain to TrollStore 2 and the kfd exploit-centric installation method. Misaka, like most other package managers in its class, introduced in-app installation methods for TrollStore 2 to make it easier for users to take advantage of it.
Existing Misaka users should install the latest release over their existing installation to take full advantage of the latest bug fixes and improvements. New or prospective users can follow one of the tutorials below to get on the latest version of Misaka right now:
- How to perma-sign Misaka on iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.x with TrollStore
- How to sideload Misaka on any firmware with Sideloadly
The latest version of Misaka can be had as an .ipa file from the project’s GitHub page.
Apart from offering a way to install TrollStore, Misaka is a package manager app focused around helping users install hacks and add-ons that utilize the MacDirtyCow exploit for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2 and the kfd exploit for iOS & iPadOS 16.0-16.6 beta 1. It also provides a way for iOS & iPadOS 17 users to trick out Picture in Picture mode and utilize JavaScript-based tweaks.
