Hi, my name is Kristina and I work as the office manager of Mid Atlantic Consulting. We are a Macintosh Support, Service, and Consulting Company. I will review one iPhone app every day coming from a non-tech like me. Add your comments and I will try to reply.

  • Track Kit – GPS Tracker with offline maps

No matter where you’re traveling, Track Kit will be able to record your entire journey for you. It’s great for hiking, hunting, boating, and even just road tripping. It’s able to record your routes with waypoints, and you can attach notes, audio recordings, and photos to provide context. Track Kit is also loaded with tools to help you measure the distance between points, radius, incline, direction, and speed.

  • MadNotes

MadNotes is able to keep up with the speed of your thoughts. Swipe down to generate a new note. While typing, you’re able to slide your finger across the open part of the screen in order to move the cursor and edit out any mistakes. Notes can be reordered with a left to right swipe, deleted with a right to left swipe, and highlighted with one of two colors with a tap. All notes are synced to iCloud automatically. A night mode can also be toggled off and on with an upward swipe.
