The game starts you off with a limited budget, which allows you to purchase a few armies and ships. Shore up your borders in order to ensure revenue keeps coming in, and then start moving across the world claiming new countries and bringing your foes to their knees. Spying allows you to see the number of armies, ships, and annual revenue for each country before engaging in battle, but it comes at a cost, so use it wisely. The game includes single player, pass and play multiplayer, and online multiplayer modes.
