  • Gyroscope Health Will Revamp Your Life’s Operating System

We live busy lives, and it’s hard to balance productivity with good health and fitness. Keeping track of how much screen time we’re spending, as well as how diligently we are meeting our fitness goals, can be a true challenge. Gyroscope Health is a full-featured app that can monitor your life for you, keeping track of sleep, health, fitness, and even productivity.

If you’re trying to keep up with balancing your life between productivity and good health and fitness, Gyroscope Health can really help. The app tracks your days, weeks, months and years in precise detail. Depending on which other apps you integrate with, Gyroscope Health can bring together your sleep patterns, productivity, fitness activities, and Apple Health data.

By itself, Gyroscope Health will report what it reads from Apple Health. That means, of course, that you need to grant it access to that data. The app really begins to shine, though, when you take advantage of the other available integrations.

For example, linking Gyroscope Health with RescueTime will help you visualize how you spend your computer and other screen time. This brings productivity to light, along with your fitness and health information.

The ultimate health and fitness tracking app

Gyroscope Health produces gorgeous reports that show you each day at a glance. You can view this information in cards, which you can tap on for even more information.

The information is presented to you in a way that makes it easy to see how well you are meeting your productivity, sleep, health, and fitness goals. Integrating with fitness wearables like the Fitbit and apps like Runkeeper will help you stay on track with your workout schedule.

Gyroscope Health also tracks your sleep patterns, pulling in data from Apple Health. You can see how much sleep you’ve gotten, along with the other important aspects of your day.

The reports provided are gorgeous and fit for sharing. As is fitting, each of the cards for the reports can be shared to Facebook, Twitter, Messages, or other options.

There honestly isn’t much bad about Gyroscope Health. The app works very well, and provides you with an excellent overview of your life. How much information it shows is entirely up to you and which other apps you allow it to integrate with.

There are a few areas for improvement, though. The app’s “quantified selfie” option is terrific, but it might be good for the occasional reminder to take those snapshots. It would also be helpful if the app used a special album within Photos, rather than looking at your entire Photo Stream.

Being able to remove cards from the daily view would be a welcome change. I don’t plan on integrating with RescueTime, so seeing that empty card every day is a bit off-putting

More integration with Apple Watch would also be appreciated. While the app does a great job of reflecting health information tracked by your Apple Watch, I wasn’t able to find a way to integrate Workout data in the same way that the integration with Runkeeper and other fitness wearables works.

Gyroscope Health is definitely my app of choice for viewing my day at a glance. I’ve yet to integrate RescueTime into the mix, because I’m honestly distrustful of that service for some reason. Be that as it may, being able to see my sleep, health and fitness information in a single location each day is definitely a boon to my efforts to improve my physical fitness. Gyroscope Health is one of those apps that I use on a daily basis, and I believe most health- or fitness-conscious people will, too.

     5 college kids 800

One of the hardest things for a student to do is to stay motivated and productive. We go through it, hours of sitting around procrastinating, waiting for someone to knock on the door or phone us asking us to come out so we can justify an excuse for leaving our work till a later date.

Unfortunately, the work still needs to be done and it’s even harder to go back to it. Luckily, thanks to the age of technology we live in, there are countless apps and tools we can download and utilise to alleviate our stresses and ease our pains. Here, to make your life a little easier and a lot more productive is my nine productivity and development apps and tools.

If you’ve got an ever-increasing workload and one really simple way just to combine and refer to then Todoist is the app for you. Available on all smartphone devices with seamless syncing to your desktop computer, this is such as a great app to list out your jobs the day and get them done.

    Assignment Help

You could spend hours writing a perfect piece of content for your assignment only to hand it in and get a B, maybe even a C. It’s just not fair when the lecturer decides to mark you down just because there’s a typo or a spelling mistake that doesn’t really affect the overall content. To avoid this problem entirely, and to save you from doing it, upload it to Ox Essays where a professional writer can proofread your work for you!

    MindGenius

Remember when you used to do mind-maps during your earlier years in school? The reason they used them then was that they’re visual and they work so well. They still work extremely well now! Simply download the software onto your desktop computer and get you organised and on the right path to creativity and increased levels of productivity.

    Evernote

The critically acclaimed king of list apps and productivity booster. Evernote simply must be on this list as it features on every productivity list. Even though at its core Evernote is just a to-do list app, there are so many features seamlessly integrated into the software, it really can change your life.

    CiteItIn

There’s one thing I do not miss about college would and that is referencing. The bane of my life, I wish had discovered CiteItIn sooner, a piece of free online software that allows you to create outstanding, professional looking references and citations that make your work look and sound incredible.

    Academized

When researching for information for your assignment you may come across a simple sentence that says exactly what you mean but there’s no way to re-word it. You do this a couple of times in a 10,000-word assignment and you’re more than likely going to be caught out for plagiarism. This can even result in you getting removed from the course. To minimise and eliminate the risk, send off your work to Academized, a custom writing solution that can scan and check your work, editing it so it passes any plagiarism test.
