    Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference returns the week of June 8th

    Apple today announced it will host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) online from June 8-12, bringing developers together from around the world for a week of connection, exploration, and innovation. In addition to the online experience, developers and students will also have the opportunity to celebrate in person during a special event at Apple Park on June 8th.

    WWDC26 will spotlight incredible updates for Apple platforms, including AI advancements and exciting new software and developer tools. As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting developers, WWDC will also provide unique access to Apple engineers and designers, and insight into new tools, frameworks, and features.

    WWDC kicks off with the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union on Monday, June 8th. The conference continues online all week with over 100 video sessions and interactive group labs and appointments, where developers can connect directly with Apple engineers and designers to explore the latest announcements. The conference will take place on the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel; and on the Apple Developer bilibili channel in China.

    “WWDC is one of the most exciting times for us at Apple because it’s a chance for our incredible global developer community to come together for an electrifying week that celebrates technology, innovation, and collaboration,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, in a statement. “We can’t wait to see many of you online and in person for what is sure to be one of our best WWDC events yet.”

    The special in-person event at Apple Park on June 8 will offer developers and students the opportunity to watch the Keynote and the Platforms State of the Union, meet with Apple engineers and designers, take part in special labs and activities, and connect with the worldwide developer community. Space will be limited; details on how to submit a request to attend can be found on the Apple Developer website.

    Apple is proud to support student developers through the Swift Student Challenge, one of many Apple programs that uplift the next generation of entrepreneurs, coders, and designers. This year’s winning students will be notified on Thursday, March 26, and will be eligible to request to attend the special event at Apple Park. In addition, 50 Distinguished Winners will be recognized for their outstanding submissions and invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience.

    Apple will share additional conference information in advance of WWDC through the Apple Developer app, Developer website, and Apple Developer YouTube channel. Developers can also follow the conference worldwide on LinkedIn and WeChat, and on bilibili in China.

    Fix webpage content cutting off in Safari on iOS 26

    Learn what to do if webpage content cuts off, showing empty white space at the bottom when browsing in Safari on an iPhone running iOS 26.

    Some users have reported that Safari in iOS 26 abruptly cuts off the bottom portion of the webpage, making it impossible to view the full content, unless scrolled down.

    In some cases, even the options on the Safari Start Page are weirdly chopped off, looking strange and un-Apple-like.

    If you’re also facing this problem, here are some tips to fix it.

    Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 26

    If your iPhone is still running an initial build of iOS 26, head to Settings > General > Software Update and install the most recent version, which at the time of writing is iOS 26.3.1 (with iOS 26.4 coming very soon).

    Make sure the page has fully loaded

    It can also happen that the webpage you’re on hasn’t fully loaded due to an Internet or VPN issue. Simply check your internet connection and refresh the webpage by tapping the curved arrow icon in the Safari address bar.

    Restart your iPhone

    iOS 26, much like its predecessor, is super buggy and glitchy. Since the nature of my work involves using iPhone, iPad, and Mac for hours every day, I have noticed many issues, such as Safari showing a full empty white page, Universal Clipboard failing to work almost every day, AirDrop not transferring files or keeping me waiting, apps getting unresponsive, and so on.

    I know I don’t always like to restart my iPhone in the middle of work, but this simple step is highly effective. So if it has been a while since you last restarted your device, do it now, then check whether the cut-off half-empty white webpage issue is fixed.

    Turn off Reduce Transparency mode

    If you don’t like the new Liquid Glass design language, you can minimize its effect by turning on reduce transparency, which blurs some background to improve legibility.

    If you have already installed the latest version of iOS 26, but this weird Safari problem continues, follow these steps to turn off Reduce Transparency, which should fix the issue.

    1. Open the Settings app and tap Accessibility.
    2. Tap Display & Text Size.
    3. Turn off Reduce Transparency if it’s on.
    4. Now force-quit and reopen Safari, or restart your iPhone, and visit the same webpage again. Chances are, it won’t cut off the page to show a white box in the lower half of the screen.

    Try another Safari bottom tab style

    Safari supports three bottom tab layouts, with Compact being the default. Head to iOS 26 Settings > Apps > Safari and select Bottom or Top. Then, open Safari and refresh the webpage. This time, it should show the full contents, without cutting anything off.

    Edit Safari Start Page

    If you notice that some elements on your Safari Start Page are cut off, follow the above tips. And if those have not helped, try the following:

    1. Go to Safari Start Page on your iPhone, tap Edit, and turn off all options.
    2. Force quit Safari.
    3. Restart your iPhone.
    4. Open Safari, tap Edit, and re-add the options you want on the Start Page. Hopefully, some of them won’t be cut off now.

    Clear Safari browser data

    If the problem remains unsolved, go to iOS 26 Settings > Apps > Safari and clear all history and browser data. Then, restart your iPhone, and this issue should be a thing of the past.

    Check if the problem happens in other browsers

    Unlike on macOS, browsers on iOS, including Chrome, are required to use Apple’s WebKit engine. This means they share the same underlying rendering engine as Safari, even though they have different interfaces.

    Still, visit the same webpage in Chrome, Firefox, or other browsers and check if the issue repeats. In case it doesn’t, clear the Safari browser data, as mentioned above.

    Reset all iOS settings

    If webpages in Safari on your iPhone are showing an empty white box in the lower half, not because of bugs or glitches, but due to conflicting settings, then resetting everything can help.

    Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset and reset all settings. You can read the consequences of this in our linked tutorial.

    Set up your iPhone again

    Lastly, if nothing helps, and waiting for a new iOS 26 update, or switching to another browser is not an option for you, consider erasing your device and setting it up again. Of course, before you do this, back up all your essentials to iCloud or make a full device backup.
