Mujjo’s latest collection for the iPhone 16 lineup comprises three precisely crafted cases along with a MagSafe Wallet. The luxurious Full Leather Cases are crafted from premium European leather, the Shield Cases are hardened with bumpers providing 5-meter drop protection, the MaizCases are made from Italian bio-leather and the three-card MagSafe Wallets use vegetable-tanned leather.
I’ve been testing samples Mujjo sent me for review on my iPhone 16 Pro Max in the past week. Before we get to it, I would point out that I got to keep the free samples. I haven’t received any other compensation from Mujjo and the company has no editorial input or control over this review.
I’ve used cases from Mujjo before, and they’re great value. I would say the new collection is the best Mujjo has produced so far. You can’t help but notice how exquisitely designed and cut with high precision these things are. I especially dig the new Livid Green color option, which gives my iPhone a fashionable, tad managerial look guaranteed to turn heads.
Full Leather Cases turn heads
My absolute favorite is the Full Leather Case, now available in the new Green Smoke and Livid Green color finishes, designed to be luxe and durable.
I’d used Mujjo’s earlier leather cases, and they held up extremely well over time without any serious damage from regular wear and tear.
The Full Leather Cases are made from uncoated Velore leather, fine-grain Danish calfskin leather tanned without a single drop of water. Unlike some other companies ‘ leather-based products, I’ve found the material to withstand moisture and some raindrops without developing stains. However, leather will always be leather, eco-friendly or not, so it’s best to avoid getting the case wet.
The inner shell is lined with a sumptuous Japanese microfibre that protects the back glass of your iPhone, and there are MagSafe magnets to support wireless charging and StandBy Mode while the case is on.
The machined-metal buttons have a satisfying click, producing a smooth, responsive feel. There’s a cutout on the right side for the new Camera Control capture button.
As the capture button is almost completely flush, interacting with it is more difficult with the case on, but you’ll eventually get the hang of it.
The raised bezel 1mm tall protects the display from scratches and dings when taking the phone out of your pocket and putting it facedown on a table. The camera cutout also has a raised edge to protect those lenses.
When your iPhone is set facedown, it sits on this bezel instead of the camera lenses. The bottom is also fully covered, save for the cutouts for speakers, microphone and a USB-C port.
The Full Leather Cases can be had in the same Black, Dark Ta,n and Monaco Blue finishes as before, plus the new Livid Green and Greek Smoke options. There are versions with a built-in wallet on the back and non-wallet ones.

Shield Cases give your iPhone robust drop protection
Usually, I carry my iPhone and other belongings in a stylish tech case when out and about. However, sometimes I leave home only with my keys and iPhone. I’m known to have accidentally dropped a few iPhones before, smashing their screens and damaging the housing. But I’ve since learned my lesson.
For those moments when I don’t feel confident, I choose Mujjo’s bumper-style Shield Case to give my precious purchase robust protection from drops. Mujjo says its ImpactCore bumper on the inside edges is certified military grade MIL-STD-810, good for up to five meters, or fifteen feet, of drop protection.
I wasn’t going to test Mujjo’s claim by dropping my iPhone 16 Pro Max on concrete, but I did have this case on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. All I can say is that it saved me from a mild heart attack the few times my iPhone accidentally slipped out of my pocket. The raised bezels running around the edges of the display and the camera bump provide added protection for everyday use.
Made from full-grain calfskin Dutch leather, these cases are surprisingly thin yet durable, their simple design appealing to your inner minimalist.
The cases have MagSafe magnets for snapping on MagSafe and Qi2 chargers with automatic alignment. The Shield Cases are available in Black and Steel Blue.

MaizCases use eco-friendly materials
All Mujjo cases use sustainable materials and production processes, but the Mujo Cases go one step further. They’re made from bio-leather, comprising a blend of corn, cereals and recycled polyester.
The satin-smooth feel of the microfiber-line interior gives me confidence the backside of my iPhone won’t get scratched when putting the case on.
Even the clicky, responsive buttons are engineered with recycled materials. I like that the buttons are dyed to match the bio-leather for a seamless, elegant appearance.
The MaizCase is only available in Steel Blue.

Three-card MagSafe Wallets are a nice touch
I like to complement iPhone cases with MagSafe wallets. I want to keep my ID and at least one credit card handy, and these wallets quickly snap on the back and detach just as easily. I’ve owned MagSafe wallets from both Apple and Mujjo before, and Mujjo’s are much more durable.
My Apple wallet fell apart after about two years, but I still have my three-year-old Mujjo wallet. It now looks even better, thanks to a fine patina that developed over time. Mujjo says its MagSafe Wallets are built from gold-rated leather, recognized for top-tier environmental standards by the Leather Working Group.
These MagSafe Wallets are now available in two new colors, Green Smoke and Livid Green. Like before, there are silicone stripes on the back for slip resistance with MagSafe-compatible products.
Pairing a Livid Green case with a Livid Green wallet looks spectacular. I was surprised by the number of random people asking me about this style wherever I go. Mujjo has done a splendid job with these pastel-like green finishes, and they look even better on my Desert Titanium iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The MagSafe Wallets come in Black, Monaco Blue, Steel Blue, Dark Tan, Light Tan, Burgundy, Livid Green and Green Smoke.

Do you use iPhone cases or do you go naked?
As I said before, I use iPhone cases most of the time, but there are rero times when I go naked. I always buy iPhone Pros, and those don’t come cheap, so you can understand I’m always on the lookout for the best protective cases for the iPhone.
Mujjo’s cases are the closes thing to Apple’s old leather cases, but with some added perks. They’re priced a bit higher than other quality cases because they rival Apple’s cases in quality, but it would be great if Mujjo priced them slightly more reasonably.
