It’s the weekend again, and you know what that means! It’s time for another edition of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some awesome picks for you including an AI note-taker for meetings, an easy-to-use photo collage studio, and an app for expanding your vocabulary. And as always, we’ve selected a fun new game for you to check out.

Flownote: AI Note Taker

Flownote saves you time and hassle by effortlessly turning your conversations into clear, concise transcripts and summaries. So instead of scrambling to write down notes during your meetings, you can actually focus on the conversation. The app will also instantly transcribe things like lectures, interviews, doctor appointments, podcasts, videos, keynotes, webinars, and much more, and you can easily search through your notes to locate important information. There are plenty of apps out there that do this, but hey, this one does it too.

Photo Tape: Connect Images

Photo Tape is a tool you can use when you just want to stick some photos together—no fuss, no hassle. It’s great for documenting an event, assembling a visual sequence, or crafting complex photo arrays. The app streamlines the process with an easy-to-use drag and snap UX, and offers useful features like batch importing and instant sharing. I don’t love highlighting paid apps in this column, particularly for apps like this where you can find proper alternatives for free. But the maker, Tinrocket, is an indie developer that has been around for more than a decade, so you have to feel good about the app’s quality, and throwing some support their way.

504 Vocabulary Daily Words

How am I just now learning about 504 Vocabulary? This app helps you expand your English vocabulary with a variety of engaging games, so you can take your language skills to the next level. There is a wide range of difficulty, so whether you are a beginner and just looking grasp essentially words needed for daily communication, or you are an expert or native speaker looking to increase your internal word bank, this app has something for you. It offers flashcards, multi-selection questions and listening games, and it can also track your performance. Yeah, this app seems worth checking out.

Oxytone

Ok, tell me this doesn’t sound like a prescription drug: Oxytone. “Take two Oxytone per day and we’ll see you back here in a week.” Oh man, the description doesn’t help: Relax and listen to the hypnotizing world of Oxytone, slow paced puzzle game where you rotate hexagonal tiles with tangled paths. “Relax man.””Enjoy the hypnotizing puzzles man.” Ok, that’s my last drug joke. Anyway, there are 12 meticulously designed maps, 99 challenges to complete, colorful themes to unlock, and a powerful, immersive soundtrack. If you’re into puzzle games at all, or you’re just “chill like that,” Oxytone seems worth checking out this weekend.
