Apple Pay expands availability to include Volksbank Raiffeisenbank in Germany
Apple Pay launched in Germany last December with support for a bunch of local banks and financial institutions, save Volksbank Raiffeisenbank. As of today, however, the mobile payment service officially supports Volksbank Raiffeisenbank customers in the country.
The expansion was officially confirmed by FinanzeSzene.de.
Now customers of Volksbank Raiffeisenbank in Germany can use their iPhone and Apple Watch to make contactless mobile payments in stores and apps, as well as on the web with their Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
