Apple Music turns 10—here’s how to get your personalized ”Replay All Time” playlist

Apple Music turned 10 today, so Apple shared a new ”Replay All Time” playlist and announced another one with the top 500 most-streamed songs.

Apple Music Radio will count down the top 500 most-streamed songs in the past decade, with 100 tracks covered each day starting on July 1 and ending on July 5.

A special personalized playlist comprising the 500 most-streamed songs since Apple Music’s inception, titled “10 Years of ‌Apple Music‌: Top Songs,” will drop on July 5. Like with other playlists, you’ll be able to add it to your library.

How to get your “Replay All Time” Apple Music playlist

Your dynamically updated “Replay All Time” playlist is available in the Home tab of the Music app on your iPhone, iPad and Mac.

1) Open the built-in Music app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

2) Select the “Home” tab at the bottom.

3) Tap the “Replay All Time” banner.

To add the playlist to your library, tap the three-dotted menu in the top-right corner and choose “Add to a Playlist” in the menu. You can also get your Apple Music Replay stats for specific years and months.

Apple Music turns 10

The announcement Apple published today also mentions a day-long programming event hosted by Zan Lowe and Ebro Darden featuring artists who have contributed to Apple Music’s success. The event will comprise several segments:

Retrospective segment
Titled “Don’t Be Boring: The Birth of ‌Apple Music‌ Radio with Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden,”this segment is scheduled to air on June 30 from 6 to 8am PT.

Retrospective segment
Another retrospective segment, titled ”10 Years of ‌Apple Music,‌” will air on Apple Music Radio today from 8am to 4pm PT. The show will bring exclusive song premieres, highlights from interviews with artists and key cultural milestones.

Live event
Apple Music Radio will host a live event on June 30 from 4 to 7pm PT, titled ”Live: 10 Years Of ‌Apple Music‌.” Hosted by Zan Lowe and Ebro Darden, the show will discuss with a lineup of artists who have helped shape Apple Music’s trajectory.

Apple’s announcement includes details about its new 15,000 square feet complex located in Culver City in Los Angeles, that brings together state-of-the-art studio recording technology and audio innovation, including two sophisticated radio studios with immersive spatial audio playback and adaptable setups for live interviews, casual chats or impromptu performances.

Apple also operates similar studios in New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris and Nashville where its radio hosts record their shows. Apple Music launched on June 30, 2015, partially fueled by Apple’s $3.1 billion acquisition of Beats Electronics.
