Nomad launches new deck of cards-sized 100W Slim Power Adapter, perfect for traveling

Nomad’s latest charging accessory is a 100W version of their Slim Power Adapter, which was previously only available in 35W and 65W variants. The new 100W variant is still relatively compact for what it is, but is powerful enough to keep even your MacBook Pro powered up.
Measuring just 65mm x 19mm x 97mm with the prongs closed, Nomad’s 100W Slim Power Adapter is roughly the size of a deck of playing cards. This compares to Apple’s larger USB-C power adapters or most manufacturers’ blocky options. Nomad’s Slim Power Adapter has always excelled at being a behind-the-couch power adapter because the USB-C plug attaches parallel to the wall, preventing damage to the connector.
The slim body of the 100W Slim Power Adapter also makes it ideal for stuffing into a purse, briefcase, backpack, or even your pants’ pockets. It helps that the prongs can fold up too. How does it achieve this crazy thin design? Nomad cites GaN technology as the source of this achievement. It’s not only more compact, but it’s more efficient and thermally controlled.
Each of the individual ports of the 100W Slim Power Adapter offer 100W of charging power, but if you’re using both ports at the same time, then the blue port can provide 70W while the black port can provide 30W. This means that it’s perfect for charging two devices at the same time.
