Apple Snapshot is a cool web hub to follow the works of your favorite artists, actors and athletes across Apple’s ecosystem
Apple Snapshot lets you browse, discover and follow the latest music, films and other works from your favorite artists, actors and athletes on Apple’s platforms.
Snapshot is a new Apple webpage that lets you “discover more about the artists, actors and athletes you love” on Apple Music, Apple TV+ and Apple Podcasts.
Apple did not formally issue an announcement to get the word out, but 9to5Mac spotted the new tool, which is now live and readily available for anyone at snapshot.apple.com. Snapshot is currently just a webpage with no native app available, but Apple might decided to release one in the future.

Snapshot could be used as a discovery tool to surface the latest movie, music or podcast releases from celebrities that interest you, all in one place, without having to navigate their pages in the built-in Music, TV and Podcasts apps.
The page opens to a scrolling carousel of headshots of featured artists, actors and athletes. Clicking an artist like Kendrick Lamar opens a new webpage with his biographical information at the top and bottom of the page, along with the latest release and links to other featured content across Apple’s content stores.
So if I want to go down the rabbit hole and explore Kendrick Lamar’s discography, I can do that via Apple Snapshot. For example, there are Apple TV links to the shows where he starred or appeared, along with Apple Music track and album listings.
If I choose another artist like Taylor Swift, for example, I get similar results, but also links to Apple Podcasts episodes where she made appearances.
However, these are just links taking you to corresponding pages in the Music, TV or Podcast app. For Snapshot, Apple seems to be reusing the information it already has on authors, like their bio pages on Apple Music. While the web tool currently serves information in English only, it uses country codes for artist URLs, meaning Snapshot could provide a localized experience in your language in the future.
