WWDC25 is running from June 9 through June 13 at Apple Park in California

Apple has announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will run from 9-13 at the Apple Park headquarters in California.
The five-day annual pilgrimage for developers will be available to stream entirely online via the Apple Developer website, app and YouTube channel. The Cupertino company will hold a keynote on Monday, June 9, where Apple’s executives will preview some of the biggest advancements coming to iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16 and other updates releasing in the fall.
The keynote is focused on the new features for users, and will be followed by a more technically oriented session in the afternoon, called Platforms State of the Union. If past WWDCs are anything to go by, Apple will release the first betas of iOS 19 and more shortly after the keynote has wrapped up.

Like the previous WWDC and other Apple events held since the pandemic, this one’s going to be yet another pre-taped presentation with limited in-person attendance for developers and students. Developers attending the event will have a chance to meet Apple’s experts to answer any questions they may have regarding writing code for Apple’s platforms, as well as gain insight into new tools, frameworks and platform features.
“We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community,” Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, was quoted as saying in the Apple Newsroom announcement. “We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”
Apple is also accepting applications for the Swift Student Challenge program, and will notify applicants of their status on March 27. The winners will be eligible to apply for an in-person special event on June 9. “In addition, 50 Distinguished Winners, who are recognized for outstanding submissions, will be invited to Cupertino, California, for a three-day experience,” the company wrote.
