Say hello to Belkin’s new 11-in-1 ultra-compact USB-C dock with an integrated AC adapter
Belkin on Monday announced an all-new ultra-compact USB-C docking station, providing a convenient desktop hub that can turn single-port laptops and tablets into multi-port workstations, all while charging said device at full speed.

Belkin’s Connect USB-C 11-in-1 Pro GaN Dock 150W is exactly what it sounds like, an 11-in-1 USB-C hub that can provide up to 150W to connected devices. Best of all, there aren’t any chunky power bricks outside of the unit, and that’s because Belkin has cleverly hidden the compact power supply inside of the dock itself with GaN technology.
Now before you get too excited with that 150W power output number, we should note that this amount gets split between the various ports on the dock. The main power source for your USB-C-enabled laptop or tablet is only going to output 96W of power, which is still plenty of juice to keep even Apple’s full-powered 16-inch MacBook Pro satisfied.
The I/O ports on this densely packed unit, which measures just 3.6 inches by 2.1 inches by 5.2 inches, include the following:

Because of the types of ports found on this Dock, we think it will appeal to those using budget-conscious devices such as the MacBook Air and iPad Pro, which feature fewer ports and capabilities than higher-end devices like the MacBook Pro. It will, of course, work with the MacBook Pro, but we think users of those devices would be better served by Thunderbolt-based hubs depending on what they may be doing.
The ability to power multiple displays, as well as wired internet connections and multimedia connectivity makes this a powerful tool for anyone who does any kind of photo editing or frequently connects peripherals. It’s a great way to expand a single port on your slim computer so that you have all the same capabilities as a full-fledged desktop machine.
Since most hubs have an external power supply, this is perhaps one of my favorite features of Belkin’s new dock, especially considering just how small and compact it is.
