Satechi’s M4 Mac mini hub is now available to order in limited quantities
An updated Satechi hub for Apple’s redesigned Mac Mini is now available to order in limited quantities ahead of wider retail availability in March.
But you must act fast; once sold out, you’ll need to pre-order the accessory from Satechi’s web store and wait until the accessory starts shipping next month.
The hub was designed exclusively for the 2024 Mac mini’s drastically reduced footprint. Just put your Mac mini on top of this hub and connect them using the included USB-C cable to get all the goodies over a single connection.

Apple has also moved the Mac mini power button to the left rear corner which Satechi addressed with a dedicated opening on the back letting you turn on the power without having to move or lift your commuter.
The refreshed hub features fewer ports than the previous version, but some of them are now faster. You get three front-facing USB-A ports (two 3.2 and one 3.0 versus one 3.2 and two 3.0 on the previous hub) along with a full-size SD card slot (but no microSD reader like before) upgraded from UHS-I to UHS-II speeds, plus a 10Gbps NVMe drive slot (updated with support for 4TB of flash storage).
The accessory was officially announced at CES 2025, but Satechi previewed it in November 2024. The only missing feature is Thunderbolt compatibility; the hub connects to your Mac mini’s Thunderbolt port using the USB-C interface.
Pricing and availability
You can pre-order the updated Stand and Hub for M4 Mac mini from Satechi’s web store for $100. The initial batch is made in limited quantities so hurry up if you want this thing. Once sold out, Satechi will open pre-orders for the accessory ahead of a larger rollout expected in March. Like the old one, the refreshed hub and stand will be available with or without the integrated NVMe enclosure.
