Mac mini is Apple’s most affordable computer, starting at $599 for the base model with the M4 chip, 16GB unified memory and 256GB flash storage. Apple recently began offering the latest M4 Mac configurations via its refurbished online store for the first time following the October 2024 introduction.
Refurbished Apple products are about 15% cheaper. However, you can find better deals via Amazon and other sellers. The company has also revised the pricing of the M2-based refurbished Mac minis, making them more affordable than ever.
Get a refurbished M2 Mac mini for just $319
For example, you can get a refurbished Mac mini with the M2 chip, 8GB of unified memory and 256GB of storage for just $319 in the United States. However, it’s currently sold out, so check back later. Meanwhile, a refurbished M2 Mac mini with 16GB of unified memory and 256GB of flash storage can be yours in exchange for just $459. Unfortunately, that one was also gone when we checked.
Refurbished inventory changes often, so check back later to see if the model you’re interested has returned in stock. Also, not all configurations are necessarily available in all countries where Apple offers refurbished products.

What are refurbished Apple products?
Refurbished Macs are little-used units that customers returned or display devices in stores that have undergone full functional testing by Apple. They’re thoroughly cleaned and, if necessary, use genuine Apple part replacements. Refurbished devices come with all accessories and cables repackaged in a white box.
