iPhone 16 parts are now available to order from Apple
Apple now sells genuine iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro repair parts in the United States and many European Union countries.
Apple’s self-service repair store offers various components for the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max devices a few weeks after they arrived. You can purchase parts such as TrueDepth cameras, Face ID sensors, rear camera modules, cover glass, back glass, speakers, microphones, batteries and more.
Apple also offers various DIY repair kits for the iPhone 16 components to rent for seven days in the United States, each priced at $49. If you’re brave enough to repair your iPhone (I’m not, thanks for asking), you’ll need Apple’s repair manuals for the iPhone 16 lineup.

You can access the official repair manuals for the iPhone 16 models via these links:

- iPhone 16 Pro repair manual
- iPhone 16 Pro Max repair manual
Aside from the manuals, repairing your electronics requires knowledge, experience, tools and components. Well, now you can purchase components for all iPhone 16 models. As for the tools, this Apple support page lists all the tools you need to perform various iPhone repairs.
Apple has simplified removing iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus batteries. According to the instructions on a separate support page, you need a 9-volt battery along with battery clips to debond the adhesive holding the battery in place (this process doesn’t apply to the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max as those handsets still use adhesive pull tabs like older iPhones). iFixit offers a similar tool for an electric battery removal process. Thankfully, Apple has killed the oft-criticized pairing process for genuine parts, so you can now authenticate parts completely offline.
