Welcome back to another episode of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some great picks for you, including a subscription tracker, a nature soundscape app, and a minimal todo list and calendar app. And as always, we’ve selected a fun game for you to check out.

Subscription Tracker SubTracky

No joke, I think I’m currently paying for 10 monthly subscriptions. Netflix, Hulu—I probably don’t need to go through all of them, but you get the idea. With all of these types of services these days, an app like SubTracky can really come in handy. It helps you manage your recurring payments, track your subscriptions, and stay on top of your budget. Get notifications when a charge is coming, see overviews of how much you are paying on subscription services on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, and setup useful widgets. I know there are a bunch of apps out there that do this, but I always appreciate a singularly focused utility app like this. Side note, how funny would it be if this app, itself, was a subscription. “Track all of your subscriptions, just $4.99 per month.” To be clear, this app does not do this.

Earth.fm – Nature Sounds

Here is an interesting app. It’s called Earth.fm, and it features over 900 high quality nature sounds for relaxation, sleep, and mediation. We’re talking immersive nature soundscapes like rainforests, tranquil oceans, vibrant woodlands, and snow-covered wonderlands. Feeling anxiety? Turn on the soothing pitter patter sound of rainfall. Need to relax after a long day of work? Turn on the calming ocean sounds of a remote beach. You get the idea. Features include predefined and custom playlists, a sounds map that lets you discover different sounds from around the world, advanced search, and more. It’s also a charity-owned app, if that helps sway you either way.

Tweek: Minimal To Do List

I usually try to avoid doing repeats on this list, but on occasion I will make an exception. That’s the case here, with Tweek. We covered it a few years ago, but the UI has completely changed. It’s a minimal todo list and calendar app with this awesome, flat, paper-like aesthetic. Seriously, I’ve seen other apps attempt this look, and no one has been able to pull it off this good. Features include reminders, recurring tasks, shared tasks, minimal widgets, notes with subtasks and attachments, Google Calendar support, and more. For what it’s worth, this is one of the more appealing todo list apps I’ve come across in a while.

Tapturn Adventure

This was exactly the type of game I was looking for this weekend. The type you can pick up and play while watching football—quickly, but also over and over. It’s called Tapturn Adventure, and as you can see, it’s a hyper-casual arcade game where you must rotate the…pill? Tic Tac? space ship? Anyway, you rotate this thing so it can fit through various shapes and canals as you move progressively faster through increasingly challenging levels. The game is surprisingly sharp and much harder than it looks. There’s a Flappy Bird-like quality to it.
