Introduced on June 18, the Keys-To-Go 2 files as the company’s most portable keyboard to date, weighing 7.84 ounces (222 grams). Barely ten inches long and four inches wide, this is a standalone wireless keyboard rather than a Smart Cover-like keyboard attachment that must be paired wirelessly and has its own batteries.
Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 is a nice Magic Keyboard alternative
Like Apple’s Magic Keyboard, the Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 uses a reliable scissor mechanism with 1mm key travel for comfortable typing.
The keyboard is powered by two coin cell batteries (included), which Logitech says provide up to three years of battery life, depending on usage. A built-in cover protects the keyboard from damage when not used, during travel, etc.
You can pair three devices over Bluetooth and switch between them with special keystrokes. The keyboard is available in universal and Apple-specific layouts with dedicated iOS, iPadOS and macOS media keys for changing volume, brightness, etc.
You can order your Keys-To-Go 2 from the Logitech web store and its Amazon page in three color finishes named Graphite, Pale Gray and Lilac for $80.
Logitech has been making keyboards, mice and other accessories for years now. The company recently expanded its “Designed for Mac” accessories with new offerings, including an ergonomic keyboard with a unique design.
