Trying is inching closer to its third season, and Apple TV+ is finally gearing up the marketing machine around one of the best comedies available on the streaming service. It might not garner as much attention as Ted Lasso, but this family story is certainly worth checking out.
With the upcoming third season, we’ll be swooping back into the lives of Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) as they continue to work on manifesting their “dream family” into reality. While it certainly deal with dramatic content, it’s mostly a comedy, and a pretty solid one at that.
Apple TV+ doesn’t include a very long description of the show, but here it is:
Trying is a comedy series from Apple TV+ and BBC Studios about a thirtysomething couple and their friends learning to grow up, settle down, and find someone to love.
That does cover the basic gist of the show, though. The series also stars Oliver Chris, Ophelia Lovibond, Darren Boyd, Robyn Cara, and Imelda Staunton, among others.
Apple TV+ says the third season of Trying will premiere on Friday, July 22, 2022. Will you be checking it out when it arrives?
