- Apple hopes you’ll complete a yoga exercise in the Workout app, or a compatible app, that lasts at least 20 minutes on Tuesday, June 21, to win the challenge.
- Winning this challenge will earn you a virtual medal in the Fitness app along with exclusive animated stickers for use in iMessage and on FaceTime.
2022 International Yoga Day Apple Watch fitness challenge
Apple’s notification for this challenge will read as follows:
Earn this award inspired by the International Day of Yoga. On June 21, do a yoga workout of 20 minutes or more. Record your time with any app that adds workouts to Health.
You can log an exercise in Apple’s Workout app or any third-party app that tracks yoga exercises to the Health app. As mentioned earlier, completing this challenge will earn you a virtual trophy in the Fitness app on your iPhone along with several yoga-related animated stickers that can be shared in your iMessages or used during FaceTime video calls. Yoga was added as a new workout type to the Apple Watch software with the release of watchOS 5 sotware in 2018. Supporting yoga workouts natively allows your Apple Watch to accurately track active calories burned and exercise minutes earned.
