See, the drama about humans going blind after an apocalyptic event many years in the past, is going to have a second season. And now we’ve got word of big casting news regarding the upcoming second season.

Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) has signed on to star in the second season fo See for Apple TV+, according to a report from Variety. At the time of publication there isn’t much information to go on, other than a brief recap of what the first season of the drama entailed. Which is:

The series takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see. He must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed.

The series also stars Alfre Woodard as Paris, a spiritual guide for Voss and the rest of the clan.

The series started on some rocky footing, with overly-serious and yet hard-to-take-serious dialogue. However, the performances and action scenes, both of which are fantastic, helped the show along to a promising cap to the first season, which ended just before the end of 2019.

The second season of See may debut before the end of 2020, but there’s nothing official as to when the second season will premiere.

This story is still developing…
