How to unblock a caller on iPhone and iPad

So, you blocked a number or a contact and now you want to take it back. It happens once in a while but rest assured, you can have them back to being able to call you again in no time.
Here’s how to unblock a caller on iPhone and iPad.
Unblock a caller in the Settings app
The first method you can use to unblock a caller is by using your device Settings. You can do it in two different spots, so open the app and follow these steps.
In Phone settings
1) On the main Settings screen, tap Phone.
2) Select Call Blocking & Identification.
3) Tap Edit on the top right.
4) Under Blocked Contacts, tap the minus sign for the number you want to unblock.
5) When Unblock appears next to the number, tap it. The number will then be removed from the Blocked Contacts list.
6) Tap Done on the top right when you finish.
In FaceTime settings
1) On the main Settings screen, tap FaceTime.
2) Under Calls, select Blocked.
3) Tap Edit on the top right.
4) Tap the minus sign for the number you want to unblock.
5) When Unblock appears next to the number, tap it. The number will then be removed from the Blocked Contacts list.
6) Tap Done on the top right when you finish.
Unblock a caller in the Phone app
The next way you can unblock a caller is directly in the Phone app, so open it and then do the following.
1) In the Recents area find the number you want to unblock or in the Contacts or Favorites sections locate the person you want to unblock.
2) In the Recents section, tap the information (small letter “i”) icon next to the number or in the Contacts or Favorites area, select your contact’s name.
3) At the bottom of the screen, tap Unblock this Caller.
Unblock a caller in the FaceTime app
If you’re a FaceTime user and received a recent call from your contact, you can unblock them in there as well.
1) Open FaceTime.
2) Find the number or contact you want to unblock and tap the information (small letter “i”) icon next to the number or name.
3) At the bottom of the screen, tap Unblock this Caller.
Wrapping it up
As you can see, you have a few ways to unblock that number or person that you blocked for whatever reason. Hopefully this time around, they’ll remain on your unblocked list but if not, blocking them again is just a couple of taps away.
Is call blocking something you do with people you know or do you reserve it just for those unknown numbers or known solicitors?
