There is nothing more infuriating than watching a spinning beach ball, or a rotating hour glass when you are trying to access material on your computer. One of the most common complaints I hear is “My computer is running too slow!” Some people believe that this is instantly a sign that they should go buy a new computer, but this is hardly the case 70% of the time.
The most common reason for MAC and PC freezing is that the available Random Access Memory (RAM) is being used by some programs and processes, which after enough use, will leave none left for you to run any of your other favorite programs smoothly. Apart from the fact that you may have started a few of these programs on your own, they’re usually a number of programs, processes, software and services running behind the scenes that you never knew existed.
We at Mid Atlantic Consulting, your Washington DC MAC and PC Technical support team, can help you upgrade your PC’s! In most cases, after a few upgrades and intricate tweaks, we can have your computer running almost as good as new (sometimes better!). As a matter of fact, I am about 7 minutes away from updating a clients MAC memory as we speak! Til next time!
