The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iphonehacks.com\/2016\/06\/rip-slide-to-unlock.html\">slide to unlock gesture is gone<\/a>. You click the home button to unlock instead. Plus, there\u2019s a whole new screen to the left \u2013 the Today view that contains all the widgets. You can access it simply by swiping left on the lock screen.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-100056\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div style='float: left;margin-right: 15px' class='no-ads'>\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1362921649687-4'>  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t   <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>But this also means that you can accidentally bring up the widgets if you miss-swipe. If for some reason you want to remove the Today screen from the lock screen, and the widgets, follow the steps below.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Step 1: Go to Touch ID and Passcode<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/midatlanticconsulting.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/lockscreen-widgets.png\" alt=\"lockscreen widgets ios 10\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>Open the \u201cSettings\u201d app in iOS 10 and go to \u201cTouch ID and Passcode\u201d.
