Apple customers who bought certain iPhones during a defined window can now file claims in the $250 million class-action settlement over delayed Siri and Apple Intelligence features.<\/p>\n

The settlement administrator, Verita Global, has launched the official claims site at smartphoneaisettlement.com<\/a>. Eligible class members are people in the United States who purchased an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. That period runs from Apple\u2019s WWDC announcement of the first Apple Intelligence features through the later delay of the more personalized Siri experience.<\/p>\n

Qualifying models include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.<\/p>\n

Claimants must submit contact details and the serial number of the qualifying device. Payment can be requested by check, PayPal, Venmo, or ACH. The deadline to file is December 21, 2026. Incomplete, inaccurate, or late claims will be rejected.<\/p>\n

Apple is paying $250 million while admitting no wrongdoing. After legal fees, the expected payout is about $25 per eligible device. That amount can drop if more people file than anticipated or rise as high as $95 per device if fewer claims come in.Payouts will not arrive immediately. A final approval hearing is scheduled for September 29, 2027, and payments are expected to begin at least 60 days after that date.
