This is just an extension of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idownloadblog.com\/2025\/01\/28\/how-to-use-visual-intelligence\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Visual Intelligence<\/a> feature available on iPhone 15 Pro and later since iOS 18.2.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you&#8217;re on a strict diet and crave something else, you can quickly point your iPhone at the food item, and Apple Intelligence will give you more information about its nutrition. Similarly:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you point the camera at a flyer in a foreign language, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idownloadblog.com\/2023\/12\/22\/how-to-translate-action-button-iphone\/\">Apple Intelligence will translate it<\/a> for you.<\/li>\n<li>In case it has a date, time, place, or other details, you&#8217;ll get a suggestion to add it as a calendar event.<\/li>\n<li>If the object has a phone number, you&#8217;ll be prompted to add it to a contact.<\/li>\n<li>If there is an address, Maps will prompt you to open it there.<\/li>\n<li>and so on\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1061243\" src=\"https:\/\/media.idownloadblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Add-to-Contacts-and-translation-in-Siri-Camera-on-iPhone-in-iOS-27.jpg\" alt=\"Add to Contacts and translation in Siri Camera on iPhone in iOS 27\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1490\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>Before you begin, make sure the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idownloadblog.com\/2026\/06\/11\/get-siri-ai\/\">new Siri<\/a>, and by extension Apple Intelligence, is set up on your iPhone.<\/p>\n<h2>Ask Siri about an object in the iPhone camera app<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> Update your iPhone 15 Pro or later to iOS 27 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.idownloadblog.com\/2026\/06\/09\/install-ios-27\/\">currently in beta<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> Open the Apple <strong>Camera app<\/strong> and switch to the <strong>Siri<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> Point your camera at an item, and in a couple of seconds you should see a <strong>yellow message<\/strong> on the screen identifying the item. If you don&#8217;t see it, tap the <strong>Siri button<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> Apple Intelligence will process and give you more information about it.
