The changes took effect today.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  $11.99 per month (up from $10.99)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  $19.99 per month (up from $16.99)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  $6.99 per month (up from $5.99)<\/p>\n<p>Select  bundles have also seen increases:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  $27.95 per month (up from $25.95)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  $39.95 per month (up from $37.95)<\/p>\n<p>The  plan remains unchanged at $19.95 per month.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/apple-music-hikes-subscription-prices-as-a-result-of-rising-licensing-costs\/\">Music Business Worldwide<\/a>, Apple explained the move: \u201cAs a result of rising licensing costs, Apple Music is increasing its subscription price beginning today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This increase follows Spotify\u2019s earlier 2026 price adjustment in the U.S., which Apple had publicly highlighted. Despite the hikes, Apple Music\u2019s new Individual rate of $11.99 remains lower than Spotify Premium\u2019s current $12.99.<\/p>\n<p>The last Apple Music price rise occurred in October 2022, when the Individual plan moved from $9.99 to $10.99. Apple has periodically adjusted prices for other services like Apple TV and components within Apple One bundles since then.<\/p>\n<p>The timing aligns with broader industry trends of streaming services adjusting prices amid rising content and licensing expenses.
