You can access all your photos and videos stored in iCloud by visiting icloud.com\/photos<\/a> in Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, or other web browsers. If this process fails, the following solutions will help you fix that.<\/span><\/p>\n

Usually, the iCloud Photos web app<\/a> may not work due to sign-in issues, temporary downtime, delayed Advanced Data Protection authentication, or browser issues. We’ll help you address them all.<\/p>\n

Make sure you’re signing in with your correct Apple Account email address and password<\/h2>\n

If you don’t remember your Apple Account password, reset it quickly using your iPhone, iPad, or Mac<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sign in manually using your Apple Account credentials<\/h2>\n

Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac lets you sign in to iCloud with Face ID or Touch ID. But if it fails for some reason or keeps you waiting on the sign-in page, click \u201cUse a different Apple Account<\/strong>,\u201d which will open the traditional sign-in page. Enter your Apple Account email address, password, and two-factor authentication code to sign in and access your iCloud Photos.<\/p>\n

Open a private\/incognito browser window and try signing in there<\/h2>\n

In case accessing iCloud Photos in a normal window fails, try using a Safari Private window<\/a> or Google Chrome’s Incognito window.<\/p>\n

Later, clear all your browser history, cache, and other data<\/a>, and you should be able to sign in to iCloud without issues, even in a regular, non-private browser window. This is an important step, so don’t overlook it.<\/p>\n

Check Apple’s server status<\/h2>\n

Visit Apple’s System Status page<\/a> and make sure Apple Account<\/strong>, iCloud Account & Sign In<\/strong>, iCloud Web Apps (iCloud.com)<\/strong>, and Photos<\/strong> are available (i.e., they have a green dot before them). If there is downtime, you’ll have to wait anywhere from a few minutes to hours for Apple to implement a fix.<\/p>\n

If you have Advanced Data Protection enabled<\/h2>\n

iCloud.com will not have access to some of your data, such as photos, if Advanced Data Protection<\/a>, an additional privacy feature<\/a>, is enabled.<\/p>\n

When you try to access iCloud Photos in a web browser with Advanced Data Protection enabled, you’ll get an alert on your trusted Apple devices<\/a>, like your iPhone, iPad, or even the same Mac where you’re trying to use iCloud web. Just attend to that notification and allow access<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
