Low Power Mode turns off or limits several iOS features<\/a> to save battery, so you can squeeze more use time from the remaining charge. The most notable changes during Low Power Mode are the screen refresh rate being limited to just 60Hz, suspended iCloud Photos updates, disabled background updates and downloads, and overall system slowness.<\/p>\n

Now, your iPhone or iPad automatically turns off Low Power Mode when you plug it into charging and the battery level reaches 80%.<\/p>\n

But what if you don’t want to wait about an hour for it to auto turn off Low Power Mode? Maybe you want background updates, a higher refresh rate, and system fluidness the moment you plug the device into a charger.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the built-in Apple Shortcuts app lets you configure exactly this, and we’ll show you how.<\/p>\n

Turn off Low Power Mode when iPhone or iPad is plugged into a charger<\/h2>\n

1)<\/strong> Open the Apple Shortcuts app<\/strong> on your iOS device and tap Automation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong> Tap New Automation<\/strong> or the plus button<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong> Select Charger<\/strong> from the list of automation conditions.<\/p>\n
