In these situations, you can run a quick speed test to find the download or upload speed and then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idownloadblog.com\/2023\/05\/12\/how-to-fix-wi-fi-issues-apple-tv\/\">take steps to fix it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Run Wi-Fi or Ethernet speed test on Apple TV<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> Open the tvOS <strong>App Store<\/strong>, search for <strong><em>speed test<\/em><\/strong>, and you&#8217;ll see a handful of free and paid apps. If you&#8217;re using Speedtest by Ookla, you can also change your server location (but note that the default server selected automatically is usually the best choice).<\/p>\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> After about 30 seconds, you should see the download and upload speeds and the ping of your Apple TV&#8217;s Wi-Fi network or Ethernet connection.<\/p>\n<p>Note that all three apps require you to open them to check the speed.
