I have a really bad feeling about the up coming years, at least as far as the IT industry goes. Cyber threats are \u00a0making huge leaps and bounds as malware developers continue to become well funded, organized operations. Back in the ‘Old Days’ of spyware, you really only ever had to worry about the \u00a0nasty spyware\/malware if you went somewhere on the internet that morals should have screamed for you to stay away from in the first place.. But, that is changing as we see malware developers now targeting ANY website that they can crack into and place their software on. That means that even the kitten blog that your little sister visits is no longer safe from these deceptive programs. \u00a0These newer malware packages are also getting smarter about avoiding detection.<\/p>\n
This puts many of every day users at risk. I’d be willing to bet that majority of all PC users have spyware\/malware running across their systems, and they do not even know it. And I know there are a lot of apple users out there snickering because they think they are safe from such attacks. You’re wrong. You see, while it is true that PC’s are the victims of majority of these threats, they are only that way because they have been the most popular system in the last 20 years. As apple computers grow in popularity, so will the threats grow.<\/p>\n
