Everything was cancelled this weekend due to the big hurricane on the east coast. \u00a0Maybe on the coast it was an issue and further north but in the DC area the storm was a joke. \u00a0It made the meteorologists look like they cried wolf. \u00a0No water available for purchase anywhere. \u00a0I think this was a big marketing campaign. \u00a0We have more rain and wind from a single thunderstorm then this storm kicked out. \u00a0We were booked this weekend to do Macintosh Support for the local Jimmy Buffett show and then the next night the Foreigner\/Journey show but they were all cancelled days in advance. \u00a0Most of our rain came late last night and it is clearing up now and supposed to be sunny so both of the shows could have actually happened. \u00a0Now please don’t get me wrong. \u00a0Places from Ocean City, MD North saw more damage but again most of the damage was from flooding due to the storm surge as the storm moved very slowly and pushed water inland. \u00a0 But Washington, DC is inland. \u00a0I don’t think they should have included Washington, DC in any of the watches and warnings.<\/p>\n
Last night we were shocked that entire shopping centers were closed FOR NO REASON other then an excuse to close down. \u00a0 It was hardly raining outside. \u00a0The outside bar.\/restaurant near us was PACKED with people just to show how much money was lost to the economy. \u00a0 I think it is just plain laziness. \u00a0We still provide 24.7 Macintosh Support and remote mac help rain or shine. \u00a0We can’t close and neither should the other business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
