Refurbished iPhone 13 models hit Apple’s US store
The refurbished, good-as-new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro are now available at discounted prices via Apple’s stores in the United States.

Apple now offers refurbished iPhone 13 models in the US
In January 2023, Apple began offering refurbished iPhone 13 models to customers in the United Kingdom and select European markets such as Germany, Italy and Spain. As of today, the refurbished iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are available to customers in the United States for the first time.
Apple launched the iPhone 13 family in September 2021.
Keep in mind that availability varies due to stock fluctuations, so you may need to be patient to get the color or storage capacity you want. The standard iPhone 13 model is currently unavailable refurbished, for example.

How much for a refurbished iPhone 13?
Apple offers the refurbished 128GB iPhone 13 in the United States at a discounted price of $619 versus the $699 for a brand new model, yielding a savings of $80.
MacRumors notes that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max (which Apple no longer sells) are about 25 percent lower than Apple’s original asking prices when these devices were new. “The refurbished store is the only way to get an iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max from Apple,” the publication added.

How Apple spiffs up refurbished iPhones
As detailed in our explainer of refurbished Apple products, all refurbished devices Apple sells have a new battery and outer shell and are backed by the company’s standard one-year warranty. Refurbished devices are also repackaged in a brand-new box, shipping with all the original accessories and cables.
In the case of refurbished iPhones, those devices were used as display models in stores, or customers returned them or traded them in. Apple notes that the supply of refurbished iPhones is limited, with availability “guaranteed once we receive your full payment.” Refurbished iPhones also have free delivery and returns.
All refurbished iPhones are eligible for Apple’s extended AppleCare+ coverage.
