Yesterday, Apple released (to developers) beta 3 of iOS 5.1.  On the iPhone 4s there is a new feature which allows you to turn off 3G and run only on Edge.  That was a feature of the iPhone 4 that never appeared on the 4S.  Recently I was on a ski trip and there were so many people using 3g that it was unusable.  Owners of older iPhones switched to Edge and could at least make calls.  I felt left out being the guy with the new phone, so this makes me very happy.

iTunes Connect is open again which means that new apps and updates are coming back into the app store.  It was pretty nice not to have to run updates every day on my iDevices!!!
