1Password- Most updated program in 2009
1Password is one of our most used macintosh software enhancements. It lets you share your passwords between most browsers and even the iphone. Logging into a website is as easy as clicking on a menu option once the main password has been entered.
We noticed that daily we were getting an update and I can remember one day with multiple updates. This showed the author was dedicated to making sure all the bugs were taken care of. To get his feedback, I contacted the author, David Chartier, Chief Media Producer of Agile Web Solutions and also a MacWorld Contributor. He commented, “Since Snow Leopard arrived, we’ve released 65 1Password updates, mostly 1Password 3 betas for testing. We take the fact that we make security software very seriously, and we have a large, enthusiastic user base who either dive right in or wait (“enthusiastically”) until 1Password is ready before upgrading to new OS and browser releases. This means that we need to stay in close step with browser updates for not just Apple’s Safari, but Firefox, Camino, OmniWeb, and all the other browsers we support. It’s tough work at times. But we’re honored by how important 1Password has become to what is now over one million customers between our Mac and iPhone versions. We’re happy to ensure that 1Password stays up-to-date so everyone can enjoy more secure and convenient browsers.”
We wish that all the developers out there would be so dedicated to making their product perfect. Thank you Agile WebSolutions.

Thank you for this wonderful writeup! We’re glad that you find the frequent updates reassuring. We’re always working to improve the experience of using our software.
